OVERVIEW
Blooom seeks an experienced Product Manager to join its mission of providing affordable, professional financial help to the masses. We developed an online, automated tool that manages individual’s employer-sponsored retirement accounts (401k, 403b or 457). Prospects who join blooom (after a free 401k analysis) finally have a partner they can count on to optimize their portfolio by reducing hidden fees, aligning their stock/bond mix to their retirement horizon and navigating the emotional journey towards retirement. Blooom has made tremendous strides in client acquisition and completed our series B round of fundraising in early 2017.

Here’s what you’ll own:
As the blooom Product Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of the sign-up funnel tracking its performance, continuously running tests to improve results and delivering new enhancements to market. You are also responsible for client experience post-signup including churn and client satisfaction, continuously running tests to improve results and delivering new enhancements to market. You are accountable for reaching and maintaining product and business goals. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for warping consumer expectations with emerging technologies, combined with a maniacal focus on execution in a startup environment.

Here’s what success looks like:
You’ll increase signup conversion rates, which will lower CACs, allowing us to increase marketing spend further. You’ll make the free analysis even more compelling; increasing the rate at which prospects share it with others to spread our message. You’ll reduce churn rates and increase net promoter scores by segment. You’ll make the client account dashboard, emails and Ask a Financial Advisor feature more compelling. You’ll be laser focused on increasing the rate at which clients share blooom with others to spread our message. You’ll partner with marketing to share churn analysis (across sources) so we grow our best client segments and optimize return on investment.
